Darcy

Darcy is a black gelding, 19 years old and 16.2hh. Fiona was looking for a horse to do some show jumping competitions on and bought him in August 2018 when he was 16.

After a 3 fun years together, Darcy has now stepped down from competitions and is enjoying his time being an advanced horse for our riders to learn showjumping.

Darcy is quite a character, he can be very bossy when he’s in his stable and expects his breakfast, lunch and dinner on demand!

He is not like the other ponies who enjoys pets and cuddles, he likes his own space and will let you know this. He accepts treats only, no cuddles!

He is a real schoolmaster who knows his job and as soon as you put his tack on him to ride, he knows its totally changes his bossy attitude and becomes very sweet instead.
